Note that the flexural modulus is often similar to the tensile modulus (or Young’s Modulus), although this depends on which material family you use. The flexural modulus is defined by simply bending a part and measuring the amount of deformation when applying a certain force. For the tensile modulus, the part will be stretched instead of bent. By measuring the force needed to stretch a part, you can derive Young’s Modulus, also known as the E Modulus.
